You've discovered my LIVE ONLINE SEWING WORKSHOPS and you want to know how it works?

BEFORE THE CLASS

Choose a Pattern Workshop that takes your fancy, check the dates available and reserve your place by adding to cart and checking out.

You will then receive the relevant sewing pattern sent to you immediately by email, which you need to print and keep safe ready for the class.

1 week before the workshop - I will contact you directly to confirm your attendance and make sure that you are prepared.

On the day of the workshop - you will receive an invitation to join the class with a ZOOM password or link contained in an email from me (always check junk file). It's easier than it sounds and if you are unsure you can contact me directly by replying to my email or using this contact form.

In preparation for the class you will need to print your PDF, choose your fabric and gather any notions that the project will require, which will be outlined in the pattern and listed online.

 

DURING THE WORKSHOP

When everyone is present online I will introduce myself and check that you have everything you need to succeed.

You can ask any last minute questions that you have and then we will get going.

The number of people on each workshop will be limited so that you can enjoy the experience and benefit from being able to talk freely and ask for help. Everyone will benefit from your questions so don't be shy.

During the workshop I will demonstrate each step as clearly as possible using 2 cameras and we will aim to get everyone to the same stage before we move on.

We will aim to finish within the intended time but as with all live things we may finish a little early or we may run over a little.

Depending on the project we may need to take a short break midway. If so you will log back on in the same way as at the start and we will resume. However all this will be discussed at the time.

Once the class is underway and I have introduced everyone, you will be free to turn your camera off at any time or mute yourself if you have crazy background noise.
