You will need:
- Fabrics (woven no stretch best)
- Threads
- Sharp scissors
- Pins
- Optional sewing machine
4 Main bag pieces any size that suits you but all 4 must match.
Be mindful of pattern direction
Right sides together sew 2 pieces together along sides and base edge using 1cm seam allowance.
Repeat with the other fabrics
Make main bag and lining separately
Make straps with 5" strips as long as you like see how HERE
Insert lining bag into outer bag RIGHT Sides Together (RST)
Sandwich straps between layers with excess poking out
Join outer and lining bag around top edge catching straps and leaving a gap.
Turn right way out
Top stitch to finish your fabulous new bag!
